RICK KLEBAN, PRESIDENT & FOUNDER
Rick is from a family of entrepreneurs and he feels the most at home when he is working with fellow business owners. Almost a decade ago, Rick discovered that businesses were not taking full advantage of state and federal economic incentives. In particular, he found many were not claiming substantial R&D tax credits that they deserved. Through the years, Rick has developed an industrial strength process for identifying and substantiating R&D tax credits for our clients.
Rick holds a Finance degree from Georgetown University and a Master’s degree from The Ohio State University.
DANIEL REINIER, TAX CREDIT MANAGER, CPA
As a Certified Public Accountant, Daniel has almost a decade and a half of tax experience working in both public accounting and corporate accounting environments. He has extensive experience in the manufacturing industry for medium to large companies. His diverse tax knowledge includes: tax accounting (GAAP/IFRS), tax compliance, tax planning, and tax forecast.
Daniel’s experience includes all levels of government tax audits as the corporate taxpayer, as well as financial statement audits as both the external auditor and the client. Over the course of his career, he has worked closely with a variety of ERP systems, including SAP and Oracle.
When provided a large quantity of raw data from multiple sources, Daniel enjoys the challenge of concisely presenting financial information that is relevant to the end user. Daniel earned a Master of Accounting degree and Bachelor of Science degree from The Ohio State University’s Max M. Fisher College of Business.
RICK WOODRUFF, TECHNICAL WRITING MANAGER
As Technical Writing Manager at Sycamore Growth Group, Rick is responsible for ensuring that research & development claims are substantiated through the writing of R&D reports. Rick, with more than 30 years of professional writing experience, leads a team of tech writers who enjoy assembling the pieces of a puzzle. Rick’s team prides themselves on examining complex manufacturing processes and then detailing those processes in easy to understand language.
Rick has a degree from The Ohio State University where he studied Journalism and Communication.
LISA MONTGOMERY, HUMAN RESOURCE OPERATIONS MANAGER
As a human resource professional, Lisa has nearly 16 years of experience working in the healthcare and staffing industry. She specializes in employee relations, talent management, developing HR policies and procedures, and leadership development. Lisa is a member of several professional organizations including the Human Resource Association of Central Ohio (HRACO) and the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM)
Lisa earned her Bachelor of Arts, Business Management, Concentration in Human Resources from Capital University.
Andrew Kaminski, Account manager
Andrew is a graduate of The Ohio State University where he earned a degree in Biomedical Engineering. While at OSU, Andrew conducted research in Ohio State’s Sports Medicine Biodynamics Lab. At Sycamore, Andrew works with clients to identify and collect technical documentation. Because of Andrew's engineering background, he is able to guide the team in the analysis of complex documents that are used for substantiating R&D tax credit studies. Andrew enjoys building client relationships, conducting site visits, and managing projects from beginning to end.
